Department Description :

Join Oracle's Communications business unit for the Product Verification of SS7 Eagle/vDSR/vSTP/ATS, to Automate and Test on-premise/new cloud based DIAMETER/ SIGTRAN network

Job Description:

This is a Senior Member technical staff position that will involve the following :

Main Responsibilities:

• Agility to work in Waterfall/Agile teams.

• Execute protocol test scenarios manually.

• Automation Testing using Python Behavior Driven development framework.

• Sound knowledge and experience of various testing including Functional, Integration, System, Performance, Sanity, Ad-hoc, and Regression testing.

• Review feature requirements for testing.

• Test Plan authoring based on requirements.

• Participate in Defect triage discussions.

Experience/Knowledge:

Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following areas are required:

• Minimum 8+ Years of experience in testing and automation using python.

• Work experience with Cloud , Openstack ,Vmware and OCI.

• Experience in Functional test planning, Test case Design ,Execution ,Defect logging, tracking and monitoring. JIRA knowledge will be an added advantage

• Experience in LTE, IMS and 3G/3.5G networks, Telecom protocol testing, quality assurance testing on products of any of the following technologies: Client/Server, Linux based Servers; Network Protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP)

• Strong experience of telecom protocols including SS7, Diameter, Radius, TLS, REST, SOAP, SNMP.

• Understanding and experience of Network Routing, and congestion control, load sharing, failovers.

• Knowledge and experience on Wireshark analysis and Good exposure to Linux.

• CI & CD using Jenkins and Behavior Driven Development

• Experience on both IPv4 and IPv6

• Knowledge and Experience on Python, Selenium

• Exposure of NFVI architecture will be an added advantage.

• Should have good troubleshooting/debugging skills.

• Excellent team skills, can-do attitude, focus on quality and drive to make a difference in a dynamic, fast paced organization.

• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams

• Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities.

Technical Skills:

• SS7 & LTE protocols: SCCP, MAP, TCAP, MTP2, MTP3, M3UA, M2PA, Diameter, SIP, ENUM,Radius, TLS, REST, SOAP, SNMP

• OS : Linux, Virtual environment (Openstack, HEAT templates etc)

• Network Performance Monitoring, Wireshark, Traffic generator tools (MGTS, EAST , MEAT, SEAGULL, FLOCK, etc.)

• Network Programming, TCP/IP, SCTP/IP

• Behavior Driven development using Python

Qualifications:

• BS/MS/BE/B. Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

• A minimum of 8+years of Testing and automation experience.
