Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will help us deliver our market leading Event Management Platform. You will be responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for the Event Management cloud platform with adherence to both internal and external standards. Senior QA Engineer would be responsible for developing test strategies for the Event Management Platform user stories, write detailed test plans, automate the flows and execute the test plans and certify the product. You will analyze and write test standards and procedures and maintain documentation of test results. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for analyzing the test results and recommending corrective actions, as appropriate.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during developing, testing and inspection to access product quality. You will review the bug inflows and customer issues to identify the quality gaps, if any and put continuous effort to improve the quality process and holding the quality bar high.

Qualifications

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of related experience and excellent track record

• Strong experience with Selenium Web-driver

• Strong experience in programming in Java

• Experience in DB management, System management or Hybrid Cloud Management software.

• Strong Programming Interest in Perl, Python, Shell Scripting

• Strong Experience with TestNG, JUnit's, RestAPI Testing, RestAssured

• Good understanding of SQL, Oracle Databases and their Configurations.

• Test Framework Development Both UI and Backend, using Java & RestAssured.

• Strong QA Experience of creating Test Specs, automation, executing, reporting Results.

• Great debugging skills, good problem solving skills

• Out of the box thinking and innovative mindset

• Quickly adapt to new technologies and work towards development goals

• Ability to work with others including developers, designers, product managers, technical writers, marketers, technical support personnel, and customers in a global, fast-paced environment. Promote and demonstrate teamwork and best industry practices

Familiarity with standard professional software development processes including source code control, unit testing, and code reviews
