Oracle Program Management Director - Early Career Program- HR in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

The Human Resources Team of Oracle has an exciting opportunity for you to build on your people leadership and business skills, gain an end-to-end view of the HR organization, and work with multiple business & HR team members & stakeholders. This is your opportunity to design and execute on the Early In Career (EIC) talent programs for the 1000+ Product Development /Engineering Grads that Oracle Engineering hires in India.

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, Early Career Programs, this role will lead the India operations and program management. This role is responsible for end-to-end program delivery in our effort to attract, onboard, develop and retain campus hires into the India Engineering Discipline at Oracle.

EIC talent is critical to sustaining the growth of Oracle, cultivating our culture, diversifying our workforce, and developing future leaders. You will be a critical member of the team accountable for designing and delivering best in class programs; work to continuously improve the Early-In-Career experience; leverage the voice of our customers, while working side-by-side with business leaders, global Human Resources and the program participants.

Assists with the creation of the strategy for supporting and implementation roadmap for functional Programs. Manages teams that maintain and implement functional Programs; Creates an inclusive, engaging, and motivating work environment. Role models company values. Develops short and medium-term plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve strategic objectives and results. Selects, develops, and evaluates PM Managers and/or Senior Individual Contributors to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Works closely with functional partners to develop effective partnership models for scoping and rolling out programs. Leads the execution of programs with rigor and precision. Develops new methods and tools to drive the repeatable realization of program goals. Develops change-management strategies by identifying key stakeholders, approaches, and communication plans for implementation of new processes, technology, and tools. Ensures timely and high-quality delivery across all programs to drive attainment of goals. Guides design and direction of the program components, while aiming at scalability and global reach. Drives customer-focused implementation by planning and designing improvements based upon customer feedback. Partners across the business and functional teams to understand needs and develop capabilities that drive success for the broader team. Performs other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of achievement leading talent development programs for Early Career talent, talent acquisition, or other HR roles. You must have experience driving meaningful impact, be data driven, detail oriented, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will be asked to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and must have experience managing multiple concurrent projects and driving them to successful completion.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • 15+ years of experience as a member of a progressive HR Team at a high technology company

  • Self-directed Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition leader with prior experience in an Engineering environment

  • Experience managing early career talent programs or similar talent development experience programs

  • Ability to provide subject matter expertise in EIC processes and programs

  • Ability to combine systems-thinking with strong program & project management skills– able to see impact across related processes and systems, and implement globally and at scale

  • Demonstrated execution excellence, attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to drive multiple streams of work simultaneously

  • Demonstrated success working with multiple stakeholders to achieve consensus and results; Ability to build trust and credibility with HR & business teams

  • Proven success working with multiple collaborators to achieve consensus and results; Ability to build trust and credibility with HR & business teams

  • Strong team player with outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working successfully with geographically distributed teams

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the company and lead presentations to executive leadership

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs.

  • Ensure seamless end-to-end lifecycle experiences across the EIC candidate lifecycle, included but not limited to onboarding process and support, technical & leadership trainings and community building.

  • Act as liaison between University Recruitment, HR and the Business teams, leading through influence and coordinating EIC initiatives globally.

  • Regularly report to the Global Engineering HR LT on program health, goal tracking and analytics. This includes running executive meetings and updates alongside the global talent acquisition team.

  • Build and lead a strong Global EIC Programs team which will enable the program to continue scale across geographies

  • Hold EIC team and individuals accountable for results and manage performance through 1:1s, connect sessions, performance management assessments and annual reviews. Create an inclusive, engaging and motivating work environment

  • Develop change management strategies for programs by identifying key stakeholders, approach, and communication plans for implementation of new processes.

  • Lead the execution of EIC programs with rigor and precision. Develop new methods and to tools to drive repeatable realization of program goals.

  • Drive high levels of data hygiene across EIC program portfolio. Ensure timely/high quality reporting across all programs to drive business decisions.

  • Use research, insights, and industry knowledge to influence decisions and evaluate the effectiveness of EIC programs and talent brand efforts.

  • Continuous involvement in ongoing headcount discussions, management, and target setting focused on EIC recruitment & pipelining.

  • Use a combination of analytics and long-established expertise to tell the early in career story and influence organizational leadership on the direction of the program.

  • Develop change management strategies for programs by identifying key partners, approach, and communication plans for implementation of new processes.
