Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

As a member of Product Management team, you will be expected to manage Argus suite of products throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 10+ years software industry experience on enterprise level software applications, preferably cloud solutions

• 5+ years software product management experience

• Strong technical background through hands-on experience with software development lifecycle

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

• Demonstrated ability to deeply understand customers’ pain points, collect customer requirements and translate them into product features for successful implementation

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across various lines of business

• Highly self-motivated to work on tasks independently, while working in a fast-paced environment. Must be sharp, energetic and results-oriented; able to prioritize, negotiate and focus in a rapidly evolving environment

• Excellent organization and project management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical skills to assess industry trends and regulatory impact.

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field is required

• Experience with Oracle Argus Suite of applications is preferred

• Experience of working within an agile development process is preferred

Responsibilities

As a member of Product Management team, the following are the core responsibilities:

• Key contributor for product vision, strategy and roadmap.

• Gather and manage market/customer requirements.

• Keep abreast with latest product regulations and industry trends to ensure that the product meets regulatory requirements.

• Prioritize product features and capabilities.

• Deliver PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification.

• Work closely with regulatory bodies to understand the regulations and ensure that the product is developed and tested accordingly.

• Research customer pain points and act as the customer advocate articulating the end user’s needs.

• Works closely with engineering, sales and support to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met.

• Run pilot programs to get early feedback from customers.

• Present Product features in Customer conferences, participate in Industry conferences.

• Perform product demos to Customers and partners.

• Provide enablement deliverables that alleviates faster implementation and promote product features by publishing white papers to the customer community
