As a Thermal System & Flow design engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing thermal/flow performance in our products (both fielded and future Engines), ensuring compliance with industry standards, working on leading industry challenges, and contributing to innovative solutions. Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential for success in this role. Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Conduct thermal/fluid analysis and optimize the design which meet given requirements, validate learnings with test data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal/fluid solutions into overall product designs.
Utilize CAD/UG or similar and 1D/2D/3D modeling tools for thermal system design and analysis.
Apply and develop best practices in day-to-day activities.
Effectively communicate concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Independently manage tasks within projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Independence / work without direct supervision.
Qualifications/Requirements:
MTech / MS/Ph D in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering/ Thermal Engineering or equivalent degree
5 to 10 years of relevant experience on thermal design/analyses of gas turbine/adjacent domain
Basic understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Turbomachines, secondary flow design fundamental
Proficiency in thermal simulation, design tools (e.g. ANSYS, Hypermesh etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Continuous learning mindset and commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
