Wells Fargo Head of CIB Innovation - Business Execution Director in Bengaluru, India

In this role, you will lead India CIB Innovation team, and aligned to the CIB Global Innovation team

  • As the head of innovation, you will develop and lead a team of brilliant machine learning experts and work closely with the technology team and data scientist to come up solutions across CIB and get them implemented

  • Lead the delivery of AI projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Lead from the front as a hands-on subject matter expert, architecting and crafting scalable solutions and driving data excellence across the organization

  • Develop and implement program and project-level processes, procedures, and performance metrics.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of policy, methodology, and artifact creation that influence and lead agile delivery to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance

  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations

  • Define best AI/ML driven practices and AI Lifecycle.

  • Collaborate and consult with executive leadership, stakeholders, project leads, sponsors, and business partners to clarify and define project requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

  • Make decisions in end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end.

  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic leadership and Transformation, Business Execution, Implementation, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience and in-depth knowledge in Corporate & Investment Banking domain with exposure to any of the asset classes/products

  • Industry experience in AI/Gen AI from idea generation to implementation

  • Experience implementing AI/Gen AI solutions in Corporate Investment Banking, understanding of business use cases and applicable solutions

  • Up-to-date knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their trends, including various libraries and tools.

  • Experience with modern databases, cloud environments and data ecosystems

  • Experience within a leadership role where you have proven success with building and maintaining teams

  • Experience defining and leading large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work effectively across large, complex organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability and partnership building are critical

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the target state and develop a roadmap for achieving it.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to execute transformation projects and drive initiatives to completion.
