Why this job matters
The purpose of the role is to deliver stories successfully in every sprint that fully meet the customer’s requirements, and to ensure team follows all the Scrum ceremonies on time. Specifically the role is accountable for:
• Manage each projects scope and timeline
• Coordinate Sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand ups
• Coach team members on Agile frameworks.
• Be the single point of contact for external teams
• Identify, Evaluate and Prioritize Risks, threats and dependencies
• Delivering stories that meet quality standards, time and cost targets
• Collaborate with other scrum teams to ensure dependencies are clarified and addressed
• Maintain RACI charts for the Scrum Team
• Drive the risks for Mitigation, Avoidance, Transfer or Accept
• Work with Product Owners to handle Backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Help teams to implement changes effectively
• Collaborate within team and other scrum teams to ensure risks are Mitigated, Accepted clarified and addressed
• The role is responsible to ensure that the business requirements are met with optimum solution i.e. without building tech debt on the COTS products in terms of extensions/customisations.
• The person in the role should have development/design experience on Vlocity/SalesForce COTS application or similar. Following technical skills will be required
• Agile Methodology (both KANBAN and Scrum)
What you’ll be doing
Manages and coaches teams of software engineers driving the engineering organisation's ability to deliver high quality code on time and on budget and implementing means of bringing measurability as well as predictability to the engineering organisation's capabilities
Oversees the execution of technical decisions, technology choices and architecture for a wide range of high-performance products, capabilities, and platforms, effectively balancing short term impact with long-term transformation
Monitors, manages and ensures timely releases from teams by driving compliance with key release quality metrics
Consults on complex and strategic issues using advanced technical knowledge, across wider industry and/or specific sectors, and develops bespoke or leading edge, technically complex solutions (e.g., relating to new, untested technology and/or large-scale impact of products)
Drives the implementation of the defined technical roadmap to meet the needs of the business, engineering team, and partner teams
Implements, engineering and operational excellence initiatives, implementing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement
Takes a managerial and influencer role in the software engineering function, implementing the technical vision and the pursuit of innovations regarding new technologies, platforms and applications
Develops 'best-in-class' engineering for services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularised, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable
Oversees the implementation of new architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale enterprise systems, proactively removing blockers from the team's work
Researches, designs and writes new software and performs deep dive data analysis, to identify issues and implement ways to improve working processes within the area of software engineering responsibility, such as avoiding and reducing technical debt
Performs complex debugging and troubleshooting of critical issues throughout the development process
Supports the implementation of new architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale enterprise systems
Coordinates the evaluation and implementation of high-quality tools and automation processes to support continuous delivery and developer productivity
Builds and maintains an engineering culture that fosters innovation and creativity while delivering high quality products with predictability and reliability
Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in software engineering
The skills you’ll need
• Familiarity with Software developent
• Understanding of Software delivery life cycles and teams
• Understanding of how Software deliverables work and respective team structures
• Excellent knoweldage of maintaining agile artifacts (Definition of done, backlog refinement, Definition of ready, etc…)
• Prior Experience as Scrum Master
• Ability to analyze and think quickly to resolve conflicts
• Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
• Ability to adapt to changing environment
• Self Motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of the distraction
• Experience with successful Agile techniques
• Knoweldgable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
• Requires an in-depth understanding of how own expertise contributes to the objectives of the business, backed by a very good working knowledge of the industry.
• Develops plans for work activities in own area over the medium/long term.
• Supports strategic planning activities.
• Understanding of E2E Billing Journeys
• Understanding of Agile Methodologies
· Be Agile: You use your knowledge of best practice to collaborate with peers across the business in different ways. You should be an expert devOps Engineer in your area of development expertise.
Functional and Tools Experience:
• It will be mandatory have prior exposure to Billing Domain, Telecom Domain
• Jira and Confluence
• Billing domain.
• Agile Collabration Tools.

Experience you would be expected to have
10+yrs
• Experience with Telecom Domain – MANDATORY
• Experience as Scrum Master– MANDATORY
• Experience in Jira, Confluence – MANDATORY
• Experience and knowledge managing Medium to large teams– MANDATORY
• Experience and Knowledge of Agile methodologies - MANDATORY
• Able to confidently deal with ambiguity of requirements, especially in complex/ critical areas – PREFERABLE
• Ability to work with customers, to understand their needs, to influence and lead the teams proactively by delivering requirements that drive out business benefits – MANDATORY
• Ability to drive re-use at all levels – MANDATORY
