Google Embedded Software Engineer II, Silicon in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1 year of experience with embedded programming in C/C++.

  • 1 year of experience in the embedded domain, data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Knowledge of embedded systems development, Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) concepts, device drivers, and hardware/software integration.

  • Knowledge of Advanced Reduced Instruction Set Computer Machine, and device drivers.

  • Knowledge of key hardware concepts (Silicon security, timers/interrupts/event handling, memory management).

  • Ability to work at the intersection of software and hardware.

In this role, you will work on hardware and software. This team will vertically span from integrated team to hardware through applications.
