Data Quality Lead

In this role you will create, own, and execute Data Quality strategy, controls, correction, and maintenance processes across Allergan Aesthetics Commercial applications. With a strong focus on understanding what data the company wants, how they use that data, and how it relates to the Data Strategy; ultimately to ensure the completeness, accuracy, quality and accessibility of all data on an ongoing basis.

You will be working closely and in partnership International, Areas and Affiliates as well as with AbbVie Pharma Global Data Stewardship team to ensure both organizations approach to Customer Data is aligned, especially as the Pharma and Aesthetics Customer Data will coexists in Global AbbVie MDM solution.

You will focus on ensuring that our Data provides quality Information for the Business across its full life-cycle, all systems and users, International, Area and Affiliates.

You will lead data quality improvement programs, data mapping / data migration, data profiling and data management projects, managing/coordinating relevant multifunctional teams and contractors spread across the globe. Data skills will be accompanied by an ability to communicate persuasively and effectively at all levels.

The Data Quality Lead will define data elements and establishes policies and procedures related to the collection and accuracy of data, providing inputs to a multitude of stakeholders including but not limited to: MABI: Data Operations, Business Insights; IMCO: Customer Excellence, Salesforce Excellence; BTS: Business Intelligence, Data Solutions, Customer Engagement (CRM), Global Data Engineers; Business: Area and Affiliate Business Excellence teams.

You will own the International Master Data Management implementations, leading the design and driving the development team, deploying the established processes and systems across 65 Affiliates, maintaining alignment with all stakeholders, and driving a successful change management, monitoring the implementation and leading the maintenance and future enhancements.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Own Data Quality and Governance processes across the international markets for all Commercial applications and channels that capture, store, maintain and use Customer Data including, but not limited to, International Allergan Aesthetics CRM, MDM, Allergan ID, Online Account Management and all Customer engagement channels and portals

· Management of all interdependencies, risks and issues on Data Quality for all new implementations (i.e. new channels, new applications)

· In partnership with the AbbVie Global MDM Teams, support and enhance processes, procedures, and match & merge rules for managing HCP-HCO and HCO-HCO (HCO Harmonization) affiliations as well as Global Product hierarchies

· Provide recommendations to AbbVie global MDM Team on match and merge rules to ensure optimum processing, and how Data Quality can be continuously improved

· Act as Global Data Source Owner on the behalf of Allergan Aesthetics, engage and own the relationship with Third-Party (e.g. IQVIA) data providers, where applicable

· Providing advice to BTS on Data Quality systems investments

· Developing standards and guidance to Data Analysts, Data Stewards and Visualization Developers;

· Progress reporting and Stakeholder communication on all Data governance framework;

· Leading design and implementation of Data Quality monitoring applications;

· Monitoring Data alignment across all analytics and Use Cases, defining and implementing action plans;

· Monitoring reported issues on Data Quality and prioritizing related actions;

· Review the business processes and work flows needed for strengthening data management and playing a major role in identifying, cleaning and assuring the data quality;

· Ensure that data processes and activity is clearly documented, understood and communicated to international stakeholders;

· Ensure consistent and complete data monitoring and evaluation of quality against agreed standards;

· Creation and management of Meta data dictionary;

· Contribute to define standards for entities and relationship in various business fields (customer, products, business structure, content)

· Define the processes and the governance to maintain reference values of business entities

· Interface with main stakeholders in affiliates, areas and International teams to intercept business needs in terms of data and translate them into formal business requirements and user stories

· Define and design the Data Quality framework that will drive and proceduralize data ingestion process, data governance, data publishing and data compliance. Ensure that all new channels, that reside or are connected to international platforms, are following the established Customer Data governance model

· Enforces the policies & procedures established by Abbvie in partnership with Legal and Compliance

· Works with OEC and Legal on MDM policy - Represent and contribute to the AbbVie Data Policy and Privacy regulations

· Manage MDM Governance meeting with Legal, Compliance, BTS and other stakeholders; represents the Allergan Aesthetics Data Steward Community on the Global MDM Governance Team

· Works with Data Stewards and BTS to implement Global Data Source Health Checks

· Provides training, guidance, and onboarding of Allergan Aesthetics Data Stewards in affiliates on how the information is consumed, maintained, and used.

Qualifications

Required:

Skills and experience:

· At least 10 years’ experience in data operations, quality and governance

· Expert knowledge of developing and using the strategies, systems, processes, controls and capabilities required to manage Data Quality

· Significant experience of delivering Data Quality initiatives and the business transformation required to achieve and maintain them.

· Ability to interface with main stakeholders in affiliates, areas and global teams to intercept business needs in terms of data and translate them into formal business requirements and user stories

· Willingness to challenge ‘status quo’ and strive for delivering what’s right for the business

· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent

· PhD or relevant Masters in Big Data, Data Science or Information Technology preferred

· Experience in Master Data Management systems, development, processes and operations

· Strong numeracy and good statistical skills

· Analytical and keen attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills in English

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Experience of working with CRM systems (preferably Veeva CRM / Life Sciences)

· Data Visualization literate in Power BI, Qliksense, Foundry

· Data Science literacy in Fuzzy logic, Outliers, Missing values, standardization and deduplication, predictive modelling and what-if analysis

· Knowledge of Foundry platform (preferred)

· Knowledge in Data Ontology, Metadata, Data architecture and Infrastructure

· Data Engineering literate in Python R, SQL or T-SQL, VBA, PySpark

· Availability for frequent travel internationally (10%)

· A proven track record of bringing industry best practice into an organization and using this to drive continuous improvement.

· Experience of working with multiple Shareholders

· Ability to simplify complex concepts and effectively drive the communication with Senior Leadership about Data & Information Quality

· Experience of understanding and influencing local affiliate teams
