Your new role – challenging and future- oriented:

As a member of an international development organization, You’re building up and guiding a software development team for automation in a system integration environment for Marine, Offshore and Process Industry. The Automation Solutions are part of our integral Electrification, Automation and Digital solutions, which require Know How and background in the respective domains.

This includes development contribution in the SE Industrial Process and Module Control Suite basis and application software framework (EAD business) based on the TIA or PCS7 family, as well as the design of HMI process screens for SCADA system like WinCC or IA Ignition. We’re working within an agile / Scrum process environment to ensure efficiency and flexibility. Effective communication with the international team is a crucial aspect of your role, and your goal is to guide the development contribution of high-quality software that meets the needs of the SE industry.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Build up and lead an integrated SW development team.

• Support the team with your expertise in SW development and your additional know how in electrical engineering.

• Coach the development team in agile development methodology.

• Create/support a team spirit with your peers in the global setup.

• Drive efficiency in the development.

• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization

• Ability to work in a flexible, multi-functional, team-based, development environment that is comprised of both local Siemens Energy Engineers and 3rd party consultants/contractors.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Automation, Engineering, Computer Technology, or equivalent knowledge

• A strategic leader with a proven track record in management, demonstrating a keen interest in leadership and people development.

• 10+ years of experience in developing and deploying software applications.

• Experienced in Electrification solutions.

• Domain Know How in certain industrial applications.

• Validated communication and presentation skills (English)

• Experienced in working in international development teams.
