The Organisation:

The Global Health Digital Technology organisation is responsible for International Health’s shared Contact Center, Health and Digital software solutions used across many of our regions. The multiple scrum teams in the Global space have developers and testers in Bangalore and are continuing to invest in growing the capability and maturity of these teams.

The Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Development capability of the CHSI, Bangalore-based International Health Global Software Delivery Digital team. The Senior Supervisor will oversee the onboarding, training and effectiveness of the team and will liaise closely with Scrum Masters across the Global scrum teams to ensure that the needs of the teams are being met and managed effectively.

The successful candidate will also join, as lead developer, one of the Digital Agile scrum teams supporting and developing the Salesforce Experience Cloud applications in use by the International Health Delivery Services - Global team. This includes responsibility for managing assigned work requests throughout the SDLC, building customized solutions using Salesforce declarative tools, custom code, and AppExchange products. The candidate will require an understanding of business processes related to the Service Cloud applications, strong technical understanding of Salesforce/Omnistudio and communication skills to interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to develop and enhance the system accordingly.

The Senior Supervisor will be a high-performing individual who is methodical, inquisitive and has a passion for high-quality deliverables.

They will be expected to provide innovative solutions to overcome challenges and meet the capacity needs of the teams.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• Lead & Drive the Bangalore based IH Global Digital Development team

• Have a detailed awareness of the demand on each of the individuals in the team

• Manage resource staffing based on the demand & supply

• Ensuring new CHSI employees are efficiently onboarded and looked after during joining process

• Responsible for the career development and the performance of the team members

• Responsible for creating a good work environment & culture for the team

• Capacity planning & resource allocation

• Manage resourcing related risk & issues with proactive mitigations

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the quality & productivity of the team

• Attend relevant agile process & ceremonies

• Adhere to the organization's policies, best practices and help to drive changes to achieve more efficiency

• Analysing requirements to ensure information is complete and determine complexity.

• Applying your knowledge of “out of the box” functionality to determine what different design options exist and highlight any compromises.

• Developing and documenting customised solutions within the Salesforce platform including enhancing and creating workflows, process builders, functions and configurations and maintaining balance between point and click and coding solutions

• Developing and documenting customised solutions leveraging Vlocity components such as Omniscripts, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures to complement built-in Salesforce functionality

• Develop system integrations involving Salesforce.com web services (JSON, SOAP) and Vlocity Data Raptors and Integration Procedures

• Ensuring developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable.

• Ensuring that solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices and leverage standard CRM functionality where possible.

Ideally you will have experience with or have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

• 6+ years in Salesforce administration and development

• 4+ years as a Salesforce Developer with Apex, triggers, trigger frameworks, Visualforce, Lightning Aura/LWC

• 3+ years as a Vlocity/Omnistudio developer with Omniscripts, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures

• 3+ yrs experience as Team Lead

• Experience Cloud , Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud

• Broad knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle

• Proven experience of working within an Agile environment

• Competent user of Microsoft office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Exceptional English verbal, written and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Comfortable working independently, leading a team or as part of a team

• Demonstrate accuracy and possess a keen eye for detail

• Strong interest in personal development

• Copado , VS Code, JIRA/ADO

• Would be useful to have knowledge of other object oriented development language(s) such as Java

• Agile development methodologies (such as SAFe)

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Finance business knowledge

• One of: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder or Salesforce Platform Developer Certifications

• Web based software development, especially using Java and HTML

• Salesforce & Vlocity Technology experience
