Emerson APAC Manager, Software Renewals and Customer Success in BENGALURU, India

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Strategic Leadership: Implement the renewals and customer success strategy for the Asia Pacific region, aligning with overall business goals and objectives.  

  • Team Management: Lead a team of renewals specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide mentoring, coaching and recognition to the revenue team to ensure business goals are achieved. 

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs and challenges, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. 

  • Performance Metrics: Establish critical metrics to measure the efficiency of renewal efforts, adjusting strategies as necessary.  

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as partnership and re-sellers, sales, customer operations, and global services, to discover opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. 

  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide renewal strategies and drive business growth.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on renewals performance, challenges, and opportunities. Proactively monitor customer usage and elevate adoption progress or concerns with Account Manager. 

  • Process Improvements: Drive change for system, process improvements and new initiatives for revenue. 

  • Structural change: Evaluate, plan and execute an intentional transformation from an operational mindset into a sales and customer success oriented workflow.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Sales/Customer Success, or related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • Experience in renewals, account management, or customer success, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

  • Proven ability to drive results through effective team management and strategic planning. 

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships at across the organization. 

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis software.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Candidates with an MBA are preferred.

  • Experience in the technology or SaaS software industry.
