Minimum Qualifications Varies Additional Required Qualifications Must show documented experience for specific course being taught including, but not limited to: Documented class IV kayaker, or canoer, or rafter, or documented sea kayak experience for paddlesports courses. Competent and comfortable leading traditional and sport routes up to 5.9 for climbing courses. Comfortable skiing and/ or riding black diamond and double black diamond terrain as well as varying back-country terrain. BC Coach Award, or ACA Level IV certification, or 5 years of documented kayak and canoe experience. AMGA Single Pitch Instructor Certification, or AMGA Rock Guide Course Completion, or PCIA Single Pitch Instructor Certification, or 5 years of documented rock climbing experience. PSIA & AASI Instructor Certification, or AMGA Ski Guide Course Completion, or 5 years of documented skiing and/or riding experience. Position Duties 95% The part time, temporary position is anticipated to last 6 \' 10 weeks per 10-week term mostly week day afternoons with an occasional Saturday or extended multi-week field-time depending on the course. Assist with fundamentals of the TRAL course, assist with activities and basic skills. Assist Lead Instructor managing student safety. 5% Other duties as assigned.
