Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking plant maintenance electricians/mechanics responsible for the care and maintenance of all property and production assets. This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance on production, packaging, and processing equipment.

• Complete both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks on utility systems.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.

• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Handle electrical wiring and conduit bending.

• Work with 240 and 480 volt industrial electrical systems.

• Utilize Allen Bradley PLCs for troubleshooting fillers and conveyors.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Repair and maintain industrial electrical systems and machinery.

• Perform welding as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical maintenance and repair.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.

• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

• Experience with 240 and 480 volt industrial electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, particularly Allen Bradley PLCs.

• Skill in conduit bending and electrical wiring.

• Familiarity with ladder logic.
