Are you an experienced Quality Inspector who is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives on solving tough problems? We are looking for an individual to champion the quality of our products using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the Eaton Beltsville facility will be considered.

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.

Responsibilities

Visually and manually inspect manufactured parts per acceptance criteria

• Interpret advanced blueprints, assembly drawings, angularity, profile, various datum's (Vectors) and results from advanced measuring techniques (CMM, Keyence, FARO arm) per acceptance criteria.

• Create FAIR and inspection plan documentation, utilizing drawings and standard templates.

• Record/document all receiving, in-process, and final inspection findings as required and initiate Fast Response as needed.

• Achieves and maintains applicable certifications, including plating inspection certification, weld inspector certification, general inspector certification, and hardness testing.

• 5S+ involvement which includes but not limited to your working area

• Uphold quality integrity and generate non-conformance reports when parts do not meet specifications

• Ability to work with MFG-PRO to process parts systematically and WISPER for DMR generations

• Additional Quality specific functions as necessary

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 35lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• Quality Control (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Blueprints (3 years of experience is required)

• Product Inspection (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Quality Assurance

• interpret assembly drawings (1 year of experience is required)

• plating inspection cert (1 year of experience is required)

• weld inspector cert (1 year of experience is required)

• general inspector cert (1 year of experience is required)

• hardness testing (1 year of experience is required)
