Position Description:

CGI Federal has an immediate need for Business Analyst supporting a project for a large Federal government Civilian agency. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest organizations for the US Federal Government. We take an innovative and collaborative approach to supporting our client, working in an agile environment using emerging technologies. You will be interacting with a dynamic team of people, with opportunities to learn and grow as you help deliver the overall solution to our client.

This position is located in our Belton, TX office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Manage reporting and automation tools built using Power BI, PowerApps, and SQL to include daily data refreshes, quality checks, and updates when requested by the Client.

• Perform reconciliations between tools and VA’s Financial System to identify and remedy discrepancies.

• Develop and submit routine financial reports in MS Excel.

• Develop Leadership Briefings in MS PPTX.

• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for VA processes in MS Word.

• Develop Draft Policies, Guides, Trainings, Job Aids, and other process documentation.

• Develop communications on behalf of our client.

• Perform Compliance Audits, review sample documentation, and perform testing.

• Collaborate with the team and other project teams utilizing Outlook and MS Teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Education: Bachelor's degree

• Years of General Experience: 0-3

• Proficient in MS Office Applications

• Basic knowledge of Power BI and SQL

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business (ideally Finance or Accounting) or Information Systems

• Experience Working/Contracting for Veterans Affairs

• Experience with Financial Management/Reporting

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $45,700.00 - $108,300.00.
