RBC Bearings Maintenance Technician B-Shift in Belton, South Carolina
Description
Positions will be on the Night Shift
Assigned to work 10 pm-8 am, Mon-Wed & 8 pm-6 am, Thursday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Design and implement control systems for machine tools, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
Maintain electrical and program documentation.
Drive improvements to the current state of PLC, Robotics, and HMI that reduces cost and improves operational performance.
Manage the software and hardware required for troubleshooting machine logic programs.
Leads and trains maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting of production equipment and the repair of electronic control equipment.
Demonstrate thorough understanding of industrial control systems and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC’s)
Install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, robotic apparatuses, and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Attendance is an essential function of the job.
Work overtime to support projects and production as needed.
EDUCATION:
- Preferred A.S. Degree in Industrial Maintenance and two years of relevant experience strongly recommended. Multiple years of industrial maintenance experience will be considered as an alternative.
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of industrial electronics.
Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings as well as electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Dodge in the U.S.

Willingness/desire to learn and utilize lean manufacturing principles.
Track record of taking ownership of work and displaying strong customer focus.
Self-starter with the ability to establish, prioritize, and organize work tasks.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills.
