Job Title: Brake Operator
Job Description
We are a metal manufacturing company located in Beloit, WI, specializing in the welding and fabrication of steel components. Our products range from large switchgear sub-bases and electrical enclosure assemblies used in the data center industry to various sizes of fuel tanks used in power generation.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and edit programs on fabrication equipment, including brake press and potentially other machinery such as lasers, saws, and drill presses
Utilize micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
Work off of blueprints
Conduct quality inspections of parts
Load and unload materials
Perform preventive maintenance on machines
Handle heavier steel and gauge material
Essential Skills
1 year of experience running a brake press
Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
Ability to read and work off of blueprints
Experience with sheet metal and mild steel
Inspection skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with laser machinery
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures

Work Environment
Our facility operates in two shifts: 1st shift from 6am-4:30pm (4-10s) and 2nd shift from 4:30pm-3am (4-10s). While we try to avoid working on Fridays, some overtime may be necessary. We employ roughly 80 employees over these two shifts. Steel-toed shoes, eye, and hearing protection are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00
4-10 schedule - try to not work OT but currently working some OT
