We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the manufacturing industry located in Beloit, Wisconsin. The role requires an individual with strong skills in Month-end close, Accounting Software Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Excel Formulas, among others. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of accounting functions and ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting functions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to manage financial data effectively.

• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Assist with the annual budget process and maintain strict control over expenses.

• Manage vendor relationships and oversee collections processes to maintain positive cash flow.

• Leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports.

• Use database management systems for efficient record-keeping and data retrieval.

• Assist with the audit process, ensuring all financial records are prepared and organized for auditing.

• Oversee the application of accounting principles and practices in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Implement necessary changes to accounting processes and procedures for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Demonstrated ability to manage all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures and practices

• Experience in handling Month End Close tasks

• Proven ability to manage and prepare an Annual Budget

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas

• Experience with Database management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy in work

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
