We are looking for an experienced, results-oriented driver and collaborator to join as a Senior Product Manager - Tech, focused on driving inventory availability measurement and management within the North America business. This is a highly visible role that requires partnering with Category, Finance, and Operations leaders to develop deep knowledge and insights to detect, drive actions and proactively steer to the right business outcomes. In this role, you will own strategic roadmap to improve customer experience and supply chain scale, as well as day to day business insights, to systemically improve Supply Chain defects.
You are also expected to steer and equip the business through the development of metrics and reporting solutions, ideation of new products and features, data review and in-depth analysis. You will also collaborate with fellow Principal/Senior PMs, similarly focused on driving business outcomes on specific segments. In addition, you will provide guidance and mentoring to BIEs and PMs, and play a leadership role for your business segment across the broader SCOT organization.
The successful candidate will have deep supply chain expertise and strong problem-solving skills and can prioritize well, work through ambiguity, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of exploring uncharted business terrain, collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders to agree on the path forward, and delivering results by utilizing business insights and analytics. This role offers an opportunity to oversee and own your segment's business success, that will minimize costs while continuing to increase the quality and speed at which we deliver our customers’ orders.
Done correctly, this role will improve our customer experience by increasing the confidence and trust our customers have that Amazon is the one, best option for ‘want it, click it, have it.’ This role will be the global hub for strategic Supply Chain improvement for a given segment, and is a highly visible and critical position within Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
Creating a vision on what means and how to measure it in the context of Amazon Supply Chain Operations
Developing new tools to identify how our system generated outcomes are being manipulated so that we can understand the intent of the intervention and measure those outcomes
Identifying the best opportunities to remove human intervention while improving outcomes in our planning and execution processes
Working with WW Operations, Supply Chain, Category and Finance partners to define and design solutions and develop a roadmap to improve business outcomes
Mining and analyzing data for metrics, decision support
Collaborating with, and holding various stakeholders accountable to drive actions to results
Developing new insights and tools to understand customer intent and create 3-5 year roadmaps.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
Ability to work with technology to develop innovative solutions
Familiarity with data science

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
