Key job responsibilities
Lead and grow a team of engineers, researchers, and product managers working on connected vehicle technology.
Develop and execute long-term strategies for integrating connected vehicles into Amazon's logistics network.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various Amazon divisions to identify opportunities and challenges for connected vehicle deployment.
Partner with external vendors, research institutions, and regulatory bodies to advance connected vehicle technology and ensure compliance.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines for multiple concurrent connected vehicle initiatives.
Drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Represent Amazon's connected vehicle efforts in industry forums and conferences.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of engineering experience
5+ years of engineering team management experience
10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience partnering with product and program management teams
Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $198,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $342,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
