Key job responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers, researchers, and product managers working on connected vehicle technology.

• Develop and execute long-term strategies for integrating connected vehicles into Amazon's logistics network.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various Amazon divisions to identify opportunities and challenges for connected vehicle deployment.

• Partner with external vendors, research institutions, and regulatory bodies to advance connected vehicle technology and ensure compliance.

• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines for multiple concurrent connected vehicle initiatives.

• Drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

• Represent Amazon's connected vehicle efforts in industry forums and conferences.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience

• 5+ years of engineering team management experience

• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience

• Experience partnering with product or program management teams

• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience partnering with product and program management teams

• Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $198,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $342,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
