Sr. Engineers, Software is located in Bellevue, WA will possess deep knowledge of object-oriented programming. *Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Architect, design, build, implement, and test of Microservice applications using Java, Spring Boot, Web Services, APIGEE, Heroku Cloud, Kubernetes, Apache Maven, PostgreSQL, Rest APIs, XML, XSD, JSON, Junit, Splunk Monitoring, App dynamics, Git versioning tool. Work on deploying the Microservice applications in Cloud platforms like Heroku, Kubernetes and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) Work on developing event-based applications to publishing and subscribe the queues for transferring the data as event message using message queue tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ. Utilize database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL and relational database schema design with PostgresDB, SQL Server. Work on implementing the logs and integrated with Splunk and generate the Splunk dash boards to monitor the issues. Work on implementing the CI/CD pipeline using Git Lab, Jenkins to build and deploy the applications in different cloud platforms. Contribute to improvement of DevOps processes and tools including scrum, user support, platform security, quality/version control, and CI/CD. Work on automated Java unit test cases using JUnit, Mockito framework. Work on GitGuardian code security platform and Git bot to secure the applications and work on vulnerability issues. Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical and Architectural specifications. Interact directly with business partners, product teams, and end users to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and interactions with internal and external systems. Work on Analytics cloud involving design and development of Datasets, Lenses, Recipes, and dynamic Dashboards to highlight critical performance metrics and trends in our Retail Operations. Communicate design, requirements, functionality, and limitations of systems and applications and facilitate reviews (walkthroughs) or grooming sessions and demos of technical specifications and program code with other members of the technical and product teams. Partner with a team to debug and diagnose complex defects, conduct root cause analysis, and make resolution recommendations. Provide on-call and after hours support as required for production releases and respond and provide active resolution support on production outages. Work with Agile software development and test-driven development. Use Atlassian products for Agile development and requirements tracking: Jira, JiraAlign, Qtest and Confluence.
