Position summary T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Sr. Developers, Database is located in Bellevue, WA and will develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse, as well as research, design, and develop computer software and applications. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions and update software to enhance existing capabilities. *Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design and develop data movements. Store, curate, process, and publish datasets for downstream business users and applications. Integrate on-premise infrastructure with public cloud infrastructure. Develop, improve, and maintain database applications. Work on multiple platforms and development projects and work with IT partners and users to define project scope. Conduct technical analysis, debugging and troubleshooting, and code and unit testing for complex scope modules. Oversee initiatives affecting data pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting services. Test and document implementations to highlight requirements, implementation, and test conditions. Manage database security, including account administration, password policy, data encryption, network encryption, and firewall rules. Translate BI and Reporting requirements to Database Design and Reporting Design. Collaborate with business and IT partner teams to develop business capability and technology roadmaps. Specific Skills Requirement - must have professional experience in: Developing and coding scalable data pipelines using Python, Pyspark, Azure Data Factory; Building cloud-based infrastructure using Datawarehouse technologies on Azure, Databricks and Snowflakes; Building data pipelines to capture and store large scale XML, JSON, and CSV files; Working with databases, data warehousing, complex SQL development, and stored procedures used for configuration, automation, and data movement; Executing on-prem data warehouse migrations to cloud technologies on Azure and AWS; and Working on cloud technologies and optimizing existing Azure Databricks clusters, jobs, and notebooks Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Analytics, or related and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Analytics, or related and 5 years of relevant, post-bachelor's progressive work experience.
