That's how we're UNSTOPPABLE for our employees! The Sr Data Engineer designs and develops data architectures in on-premise, cloud and hybrid platforms. The Sr Data Engineer collaborates with Data Engineers on analysis, architecture, design, and development of data warehouse and business analytics solutions. This role mentors other team members in their efforts to build data engineering skills. Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of APIs for internal and external data communication Optimize data storage and retrieval systems for performance and reliability Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions Use Azure Data Factory and NiFi for orchestrating and automating data workflows Implement and lead data quality assurance processes Design and develop data models to support analytics and reporting needs Lead initiatives to improve data architecture and infrastructure Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles Proficiency with Snowflake Data Ingestion is mandatory Proficiency creating CI/CD pipelines with Bicep, Terraform Proficiency with streaming tools - Kafka, Nifi, Spark Expertise in SQL, Python, Java, or similar programming languages Significant experience in API development and implementation Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services Experience with data modeling and data warehouse design Experience with data curation, ETL Process, managing and supporting complex data pipelines Knowledge of data governance frameworks Strong understanding of data security and privacy principle Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field required. * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel: Travel Required (Yes/No):No DOT Regulated: DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No):No Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No):No Base Pay Range: $105,100 - $189,600 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
