The Production Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for supporting production through process improvement and optimization of product manufacturability. With a focus on quality and reliability, the production engineering team aims to improve our production and support our operations to the highest manufacturing standards. We work cross-functionally as a team of electrical and mechanical engineers to continuously innovate to reduce waste/scrap through the manufacturing process and form strong bonds with operations technicians to improve their ability to manufacture.

This position is part of the Production Engineering team located in Bellevue, WA and will be onsite .

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Support manufacturing in optimizing the design of fixtures/tools for the ease of manufacturing

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems within operations to prevent line down situations

  • Develop test plans and conduct in-house and field testing that covers the expected customer use environment and operation conditions for alternate parts/alternate vendors

  • Generations of Standard Work/Work Instructions

  • Collect appropriate data to define, identify, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering

  • 3+ years experience in mechanical engineering or related manufacturing field; preferably from electrical-mechanical, process improvement, machining, or DFM background

  • Hands on experience with mechanical or electrical testing

  • SolidWorks experience or experience with other 3D modeling software

  • Understanding of fabrication/machining methods and design constraints

  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 USD per year.
