As an SDE II on Amazon's Customer 360 Metrics Team, you will be at the forefront of a critical initiative to quantify and maximize the impact of our AI innovations across the company. Your expertise will drive the development of sophisticated tracking tools and metrics systems that measure how our AI initiatives translate into business value and customer satisfaction.

You are a Software Development Engineer who thrives on data and metrics. You have exceptional problem-solving skills and love turning complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions. You stay current with the latest technologies in Ruby on Rails and Java, using them to innovate and improve our tools. You have strong analytical abilities, clear communication skills, and a track record of delivering impactful solutions. You enjoy being a self-starter, learning continuously, and making a difference!

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
