Wells Fargo Principal Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager in BELLEVUE, Washington

We are seeking an experienced Principal Mid-Corp Relationship Manager to expand our Pacific NW technology banking team. This senior level relationship manager position is focused on acquiring new business relationships and deepening an existing portfolio of clients. In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large-scale planning for Mid-Corporate Relationship Management

  • Maintain client relationship on business strategy and development of comprehensive financial solutions

  • Advise clients on business strategy and supporting capital structure alternatives

  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Attract and expand mid-corporate banking relationships in Commercial Banking

  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring strong understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements that influence and lead Mid-Corporate Relationship Management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Lead the development and maintenance of a focused target market comprised of strategic relationships and actionable opportunities within the assigned division

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid to high level managers to resolve issues and achieve deliverables

  • Lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of banking industry experience

  • Extensive experience originating, structuring, and executing transactions related to commercial banking or other credit related products for the most critical or complex clients

  • Proven ability to establish relationships at the CFO/Treasurer level of existing clients and build multifaceted revenue streams from strategic clients, including capital markets

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices Strong knowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital markets Strong credit analysis skills

  • Extensive relationships with technology companies, venture capital firms, non-bank lenders, and service providers

  • Strong credit analysis skills, with a preference for formal credit training

  • Deep understanding of commercial banking products and services

  • History of consistently exceeding sales goals

  • Track record growing a portfolio, while also appropriately balancing risk management

Job Expectations:

  • US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
