Accelalpha, Inc. in Bellevue, WA is seeking Principal Consultant(s) to serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Job responsibilities and duties include: •Serve as project lead/primary client contact in all phases of a project including design, construction, testing, and go-live. • Demonstrate expertise in warehousing systems. •Lead analysis and design of warehouse processes. •Define/document action plans to optimize warehouse operations. •Organize and lead project meetings. •Provide accurate and thorough project estimates to customers. •Maintain positive relationships with Client Management. •Responsible for on-time client deliverables. •Participate in multiple projects or work streams in a team environment. •Implement training and change management support programs. •Define system, integration, and performance test plans. •Lead and support all facets (data creation to execution) of system and integration testing. •Define data and system conversion processes to enable production use of the solution. •Troubleshoot technical application issues and coordinate with internal product support. •Design functional specifications for enhancements to the supply chain solution. •Proactively submit ideas for continuous process improvements. This position does not supervise any personnel or participate in any management decisions, nor does this position plan, direct or coordinate the activities of any personnel. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the experience was gained. Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency and knowledge with the following: 1. Supply chain technology or consulting 2. Warehouse Management Software implementation 3. Supply Chain concepts and best practices 4. SQL and application software fundamentals in a non-development capacity 5. Manage development and implementation work streams Requires 15% domestic travel. Work from home benefit allowed. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
