Amazon Executive Assistant I, DS2 in Bellevue, Washington

Description

Amazon is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support two Directors within the Device Software and Services organization. The Device Software and Services team is a globally distributed organization with systems and services that support all of Amazon's devices, including Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, eReaders, and more.

This role requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple urgent requests successfully. The candidate will possess the ability to succeed with minimal guidance or supervision, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, react with the appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, take effective action without having to know the total picture, and be skilled at anticipating problems. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. A calm and unflappable demeanor and great sense of humor are key.

We work as a global team, dealing with multiple stakeholders across the business and product teams: therefore it is essential to have the ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.

Key job responsibilities

  • Management of complex calendaring, scheduling and travel

  • Manage domestic and international travel

  • Manage expense report coordination and submission

  • Organize, execute, and assist with team meetings (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, executive reviews)

  • Organize, execute and assist with team social events, activities and employee recognition

  • Manage space planning for the organization

  • Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization

  • Having fun at work and helping others do the same

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience managing multiple calendars

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
