Job Description The Director of Risk and Identity Solutions Strategy will be a key member of North America Risk and Identity Solutions Product Office, which is accountable for financial and operational performance of Risk and Identity Solutions in North America. This role will be specifically responsible for working with the head of the product office to understand the risk and identity ecosystem in North America and key trends impacting its evolution, developing a strategy for how Visa can best develop a sustainable competitive position in this ecosystem, and help identify key go-to-market partners and opportunities across issuing and acceptance. This individual will also work closely with other leaders across the team to understand client needs and drive prioritization across the organization. This position can be based in the Bellevue, WA area or the Lehi, UT area, and some travel will be expected. Specific responsibilities include: Building and maintaining a view of the Visa Risk and Identity Solutions strategy in North America Building and maintain a robust perspective on how the risk and identity ecosystem is evolving, including key trends, major sources of uncertainty, disruptive changes, regulatory impacts, etc. Performing ongoing competitive intelligence to understand how Visa is positioned compared to other players in the space Supporting Voice of the Customer activities to better understand how our clients view our offerings and corresponding opportunities Leveraging all of the above to identify priority verticals, segments, and / or use cases to prioritize sales, development, and partnership activities and develop corresponding business cases Collaborate with venture teams, corporate development teams, global strategy teams, and product teams to align the North America Risk and Identity Solutions strategy with other enterprise priorities (and vice versa) Support broader enterprise in articulating Risk and Identity solutions strategy (e.g., marketing, external speaking arrangements, sales materials, etc.) This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: * 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD * Experience in payments, financial services focused management consulting role, strategy, or operations roles at a payments company (e.g., a payment facilitator, an independent software vendor, acquirer), or payments or fraud management role at a merchant * Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry preferred * Ability to independently lead and manage projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leaders
