Description We are in search of a Corporate Tax Staff Accountant to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for tax support, issuing credit memos, and conducting tax research. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive tax research and maintain up-to-date knowledge on Sales and Use Tax

• Review and verify orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Proactively reach out for certificates and tax holds related to orders

• Efficiently issue credit memos as needed

• Provide robust tax support to ensure all tax-related matters are handled appropriately

• Prepare tax filings after a certain period of on-the-job training

• Utilize accounting software systems effectively to maintain accurate records

• Demonstrate attention to detail and effective communication in all tasks

• Handle ad-hoc tasks as they arise in the course of your duties. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must.

• Experience with BlackLine is necessary.

• Proficiency in using CCH Sales Tax software is essential.

• Must be adept at using Concur for expense management.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is required.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting practices is necessary.

• Experience in Auditing is required.

• Ability to manage Balance Sheet Account is essential.
