Job Title: Controller, PACCAR India/China
Job Description: Responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities associated with US and international operations, working on moderately complex problems. Duties include analyzing financial accounts and data from US and international entities; coordinating with US and international offices for accounts payable approvals and remittances; providing market analysis regarding data for merits or bonus activities; investigating and resolving tax and statutory accounting questions; ensuring compliance on statutory and legal accounting requirements; reviewing external financial and tax filing statements and reports; coaching and developing professional staff; working with accounting staff to provide timely information to external audit teams; reviewing external accounting audits and communicating concerns to management; handling expatriate accounting and reporting issues; supporting emerging market business initiatives by developing/validating financial modeling and projections; and providing support to management for strategic alignment. May be assigned to various projects that utilize the required skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (will accept 3- or 4-year US or foreign degree) plus 7 years of accounting or auditing experience. Experience must include:
- 5 years of experience validating financial results using auditing principles, GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards, and tax compliance requirements;
- 5 years of experience conducting audits of publicly traded companies in the automotive, and/or Information Technology industries
- 5 years of experience addressing complex audit issues utilizing auditing standards and methodologies and reporting tools;
- 2 years of experience consolidating and analyzing financial accounts and data from US and international entities; and,
- 2 years of experience reviewing and confirming elimination entries and intercompany balances in accounting records and reports.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
Salary: $125,500 - $203,500 per year. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. Location: Position full-time, 40 hours per week, with PACCAR Inc located in Bellevue, Washington.
