ABOUT OUR LOCATION

Located in the city of Belleville, Ontario, the P&G Canada Plant is a Feminine care manufacturing facility. We manufacture bestselling P&G brands such as Always Pads, Liners and Always Discreet. The Belleville Canada plant was built in 1975 and is a working environment for approximately 1000 employees. With numerous safe and charming cities in proximity, such as Napanee and Picton, Belleville offers a rare chance to work in a P&G manufacturing environment while still enjoying the benefits and amenities that come with living in a suburban neighborhood and being of driving distance to the bustling cities of Kingston, Toronto, and Ottawa.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES

The Product Supply organization has opportunities focusing on process optimization projects in the areas of reliability, process control, and quality improvement in our Manufacturing operations. You will be given a detailed scope of work and will be exposed to many aspects of manufacturing during your term: project management, systems improvements, process engineering, etc.

Responsibilities will include the development, delivery and documentation of process and technology improvements to eliminate machine stops, reduce scrap, and enable machine speeds increases on high-speed converters, working with operating teams, other engineers, and contractors.

This position is a hybrid between being a liaison for operations and all cross-function support while utilizing your knowledge as an engineer.

It is an opportunity to experience both sides of the Manufacturing world where you will work with current challenges and see your solution come to life by fostering a hands-on approach.

The work term can be 4, 8 or 12months. The starting assignment is determined by your skills, interest, and the needs of the site.

• This is an on-Site position.

• Must be enrolled in full time schooling. Preference is given to those individuals with at least 3 years completed in Electrical, Chemical, Physics or Mechanical engineering programs at an accredited University.
