Position overview:

As the Computer Graphics you are a key member of Graphics team, reporting to the Graphics Supervisor. You will contribute to the success of Ball by performing all graphic and technical necessary operations to adapt the customer design to the printing system.

Key responsibilities include:

• Checking the digital elements received from the customer.

• Analysing the files and provide expertise for the technical feasibility of printing (in agreement with the printing system and technical constraints, etc.)

• Developing digital documents (working files + PDF, etc.) while ensuring the final result

• Checking files to ensure compliance with the customers request as stated on the DTI and process constraints

• Storing, managing, and backup all data on the FTP server

• In compliance with safety rules, performing necessary operations for plate making (imposition, engraving, development)

• Checking plates to ensure compliance with technical constraints and plate quality for a successful print up to the production line

• Ensuring the proper functioning of plate making and development machines and performing first-level maintenance

• Participating in necessary trials for the implementation of new processes, following divisional directives (Innovation, new processes)

• Providing basic training for plate making to designated printers

What are we looking for?

• Advanced technical diploma in computer graphics

• Experience in a similar position

• Knowledge of MAC + Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro

• Knowledge of English
