Holycode System Architect - Aktiia team in Belgrade/Novi Sad/Niš/other locations, Serbia
Holycode is looking for a highly skilled System Architect with deep expertise in backend development and DevOps, coupled with a strong understanding of mobile and frontend technologies, to join the Aktiia team .
Aktiia (https://aktiia.com/it/) was founded out of a passion to create the best solution for the diagnosis and management of high blood pressure. It is a venture-backed startup that has developed and brought to market the world’s first continuous blood pressure monitor. Their technology is based on 15 years of research by their founders at the prestigious Swiss research institution, CSEM. Aktiia's solution has been validated through extensive clinical trials and received the CE Mark as a Class IIa medical device giving them access to 43 countries worldwide.
In this role, you will design, optimize, and oversee the overall system architecture, ensuring seamless integration and performance across all components. Your responsibility will include creating scalable, secure, and efficient systems that align with both business and technical requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between backend infrastructure, DevOps operations, and frontend/mobile interfaces to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Challenging things you’ll work on:
Design and develop the system architecture, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Collaborate with mobile, frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration.
Optimize backend systems and infrastructure, applying DevOps best practices.
Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability to support current and future needs.
Align technical solutions with business goals and requirements.
Your contribution to the team includes:
Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field
Expertise in backend development and DevOps
Strong knowledge of mobile and frontend systems
Proven experience in designing scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions
Strong analytical skills and process-oriented work style with a structured, independent approach to work and focus on getting things done
