The Role

Wolfspeed NI are looking for a Senior SAP Ariba Systems Analyst to join their SAP team. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team who manages and supports SAP at Wolfspeed. Within this team you will have primary technical oversight of the SAP Ariba systems and processes and will be responsible for designing and configuring Ariba software solutions to help streamline business processes.

The successful candidate will be an experienced individual with the technical and communication skills needed to interface directly with internal stakeholders to administer and enhance the system.  You will have strong experience with master data, configuration, and transactions supporting Ariba. In this critical role, you will have a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Integration via SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management (formerly Cloud Integration Gateway), B&I, Guided Buying, SAP Business Network, Supply Chain Collaboration, supplier enablement, Supplier Lifecycle Performance, catalog management, PRs/POs and invoices, master and transactional data, and approval workflows. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams providing technical leadership and mentorship when needed.

What does your day-to-day look like?

  • Analyze, design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Ariba system.
  • Assist in defining business processes and recommend solutions to help streamline those processes.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements.
  • Configure system features as per business requirements and create documentation, including functional specifications, test planning and execution.
  • Coordinate and lead user acceptance tests with various groups to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
  • Deliver solutions that can be scaled globally and maximize value and minimize duplication of solutions.
  • Collaborate with Wolfspeed Support teams and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues.
  • Support End User Training on new system functionality.
  • Advanced Ariba configuration and overall product knowledge and have proven ability to share expertise within and across team and organization.
  • Communicate and obtain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for Ariba design (covering people, process, and technology).
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance is maintained for all supported systems.
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
  • Track/Manage changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
  • Document functional designs, test cases and results.
  • Gain understanding of company products, functions, marketing, and/or service policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
  • Act as mentor to junior team members.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years’ hands-on experience with SAP Ariba including Solution Design, Configuration, Implementation and Support of Ariba and associated modules
  • Proven experience leveraging core Ariba platform capabilities to support a fast-paced, high growth business.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and issue monitoring/resolution.
  • Experience in integration of Ariba processes with relevant SAP functions. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the reporting objects and previous experience producing functional & technical specifications

Nice to have

  • Experience in integration of Ariba with external tax engines
  • Previous experience working in semiconductor industry
