Role Description:
The data quality platform engineering team is seeking an dynamic Scrum master/ Business Analyst to spearhead the development of a next generation data quality validation framework for our global data warehouse platform. This dual role position combines the essential functions of a traditional scrum master with those of a business analyst, making it integral to our agile transformation and business strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coaching agile scrum processes across the department, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. As a Scrum Master, you will guide teams in effectively implementing agile methodologies, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. From the perspective of a Business Analyst, you will engage in ongoing exploration and analysis of business performance metrics. Your insights will drive strategic planning and enhance our decision-making processes, ultimately contributing to our organizational success.
Responsibilities:
Schedules and manages all Scrum ceremonies related to the assigned product.
Leads Scrum ceremonies, these include Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospective.
Prepares, plans, and documents stakeholder’s sprint capacity and availability. The scrum master is responsible for tracking team’s time off. This will allow for better capacity planning.
Schedules and directs backlog grooming sessions to ensure proper backlog prioritizing is done by Product Owner before the Sprint Planning ceremony.
Responsible for creating sprint cycles on a biweekly basis. This requires paying attention to all issues that have been refined and estimated by the product owner.

Coaches team members on how to correctly write Epics, User Stories, and Bugs.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives. Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower-level employees; allocates work. Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Helps to establish Agile Scrum process in the team, implement best practices and adjust the workflows and educate the team members.
Provides sprint-end report to upper management.
Documents product progress in Confluence
Qualifications:
Relevant experience within in an agile environment as a Business Analyst or as Scrum Master,
Certified Scrum Master certification (CSM®) is a big plus.
Must have experience with Atlassian tools stack (JIRA/Confluence)
Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
Proven diplomatic and analytical skills, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be applied across a diverse set of audiences.
Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needs
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
Need to be self-driven, enthusiastic, quick learner, and have a problem-solving attitude with strong analytical skills
