Citigroup Business Execution Performance and Projects support – Client Organisation in Belfast, United Kingdom

The Client Organisation was established to support and complement the businesses and ensure that we deliver ‘OneCiti’ in a consistent and disciplined way through a centralised view of client strategy, segmentation and coverage model.

Within this organisation, the Client Business Execution team manages the administrative and operational support of the Chief Client Officer; centrally leads the execution of key priorities and business routines; programme manages a selection of strategic initiatives; owns resource allocation, productivity and the realisation of cost efficiencies; and drives culture and people initiatives with the rest of the Client leadership team.

The Business Manager (AVP/VP) is responsible for supporting the completion of key tasks by organising, co-ordinating, and managing administrative and performance activities in collaboration with the other members of the team, and working with Client Organisation Business Execution teams and functional partners. These tasks may include supporting headcount processes, in particular those relating to the EWM programme, as well as other task within the team (e.g. Cross-Border Data Clearance, ad-hoc projects, reviews, etc.).

Responsibilities:

The role holder will primarily be supporting the SVP in charge of the Client organisation’s engagement with the EWM programme and execute project and BAU activities under their direction.

Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

  • Coordination of delivery with stakeholders within the Client organisation (e.g. emailing people, reminding of deadlines, chasing)

  • Material collation and review against other sources of data for consistency

  • Consolidation of data from multiple sources or points in time (typically spreadsheet data)

  • Reconciliation of files (typically Excel) between various iterations or sources

  • Querying data, obtaining background information to ensure correct interpretation of content

  • Collation and filing of audit trail documents (e.g. emails, materials produced elsewhere)

  • Documentation of BAU protocols (non tech)

  • Support with the execution and evidencing of controls

  • Other tasks, as required by the team

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams;

  • Providing oversight of business-critical milestone reporting and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy

  • Providing support to ad-hoc projects / assignments of the Client Business Execution team, as necessary.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred

  • Outstanding employment performance, successful candidates will usually have 7+ years of experience in financial services or related industries

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Understanding of financial services and the way large financial institutions operate – knowledge of Citi’s organisation, products and services will be a plus

  • Previous business execution and / or project management experience desired

  • Advanced excel / presentation skills essential
