Associate Project Managers have accountability and authority for achieving a project’s objectives.
They direct a multi-disciplinary team aiming to complete a project. This position will be in the Enterprise PMO focused on supporting projects in both Belfast and Lund facilities.
The primary responsibility of the Associate Project Manager, Enterprise PMO is to use project management techniques to support the Emergency Care business. This role under general supervision, will support project(s) or phase(s) of a moderate complex program which encompass business systems or regulatory/compliance projects.
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: What you will do:
Technical Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop sub-project charter and management plan. Recommend tradeoffs within project.
Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with manager for approval. Outline major workstreams.
Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline. Assist in the development of a detailed project Gantt chart. Manage a sub-project timeline.
Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish sub-project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
Partner with sub-project teams to establish project Quality Plans. Monitor and maintain plans.
Create a risk register and management plan for the sub-project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop sub-project risk response plan.
Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan.
Develop a sub-project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Define the role, responsibility and deliverables for each team member. Work with project or program manager to provide input to functional performance reviews.
Create a Stakeholder register for the sub-project and assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan.
Support the development of a project communications management plan or develop a sub-project communications plan.

Familiar with project management tools such as Project Portfolio Management system, MS Office, SharePoint, or Visio
Preferred Skills / Engineering tools:
PMP, CAPM or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of EU MDR and/or FDA Medical device requirements is preferred
Experience in working in a regulated environment within project management
Proficient computer skills (MS Office Suite, Outlook and Adobe Suite)
Utilize proper software to maintain project records such as MS Project, MS Excel, Planview, JIRA or Trello
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: What you will need (must have):

BS or equivalent & 2+ years of work experience or international equivalent in a project management role
