Central Service Association Programmer Analyst I in Belden, Mississippi
Job Description: Assist in the coding, testing, debugging, documents and installs modified and new programs, monitor production programs for expected performance and responds to errors and emergency problems as directed by supervisor, integrate software components and third-party programs to meet specifications, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, gather and evaluate user feedback from our customer service group, making software adjustments as necessary, maintain integrity of program logic and coding and establish required checks and balances for operational controls, assist in studying and analyzing data processing functions, methods, and procedures, and make recommendations concerning the feasibility of revising existing programs or adapting new applications to data processing operations that will more effectively use MIS resources, and produce procedural documentation as required.
Education required: Position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or its foreign equivalent plus one year's experience in Information Technology. Applicant must have college level coursework or working knowledge of Agile development methodologies, JAVA, JavaScript, GIT, and SQL.
