Amazon ROW SHARP team is established with the mission to drive customer experience and cost improvement to support business growth in the countries in scope. ROW covers IN, JP and Emerging Countries (BR, MX, AMET, SG, AU). The Placement BI team establish and monitor critical metrics across placement flow, and conducts advanced data analysis to identify operation and system algorithm improvement opportunities. This team work with both business team and Tech teams to bring data visibility and automate data solutions.

The team is looking for a detail-oriented, passionate, customer obsessed and experienced BIE, who is able to think holistically about problems to understand how systems work together to identify and execute both tactical and strategic data projects. You will be closely working with leaders from product, business and operations, and delivering data solutions to present end to end placement performance and push for improvements.

Key job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly visualization or dashboard to support analytical and business needs.

• Write high-quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze data from batch of database tables with best execution efficiency

• Generates novel but simplified solutions to challenging and ambiguous problems based on in-depth system and business understanding

• Share clear and actionable data insight with stakeholders, to facilitate priority study and product/initiative evaluation to ensure the right focus and outputs, and drive business decisions to achieve strategic goals

Basic Qualifications

- - 8+ years of professional experience

- - 5+ years of SQL experience

- - Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets

- - Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results

- - Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.

- - Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs

- - Excellent English communication and documentation skill

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with operations/supply chain

• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

• Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.

• Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining

• Experience with AWS technologies
