Johnson & Johnson is seeking an outstanding individual to join our team as a Manager IM Transcend Advanced Therapies and Clinical Manufacturing for R&D. The location of this position is Beerse, Titusville, Horsham or Malvern.

As part of the Innovative Medicine Transcend program, you will have the outstanding opportunity to be a key player in the modernization of our Clinical Advanced Therapies and Manufacturing processes for R&D!

The program will simplify the Innovative Medicine ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes in order to have a cost effective, fit for purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Innovative Medicine business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade. Driven by Supply Chain, this program is of critical importance to R&D, as R&D’s labs, pilot plants and Clinical Supply Chain heavily rely on the Supply Chain SAP platforms.

Role Description

  • We are looking for a Manager Advanced Therapies (AT) and Clinical Manufacturing in support of IM Transcend. In this role you will be leading the Clinical AT and Manufacturing workstream end to end as part of the R&D Transcend team and ensure our requirements are included in the scope of the global Transcend IM template.

  • You will work with the Transcend Global Template Owners and workstreams of Make, Quality, Sustainability, Plant Maintenance and Advanced Therapies, as well as with the R&D functional and data leads.

  • You will drive process and data standardization in scope of AT and Make processes and look to efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the R&D Transcend AT and Clinical Manufacturing team: 4-5 resources (including assignments from business domains).

  • Drive standardization related to Transcend scope (make, quality, advanced therapies, plant maintenance & labs, EH&S and related integrations) and collaborate closely with the clinical pilot plant stakeholders to drive the transformation.

  • Drive end to end process solutioning related to AT clinical and work closely with the R&D stakeholders and AT Transcend pillar.

  • Deliver the program requirements for this workstream e.g. Business user Stories, key design decisions, business process flows and scenario’s, taxonomy.

  • Lead the team though the different phases of the program delivery (design, build, testing ...)

  • Be a change agent towards the business stakeholders

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, Logistics or Information Technology is required or equivalent experience.

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent certification is an asset.

  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification is an asset.

Experience and Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of related work experience.

  • Advanced use of SAP with focus on manufacturing, quality, plant maintenance, warehouse management and/or EH&S processes.

  • Good understanding of supply chain end to end (business process linkages across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance and Master Data).

  • Good track record of successfully implementing global business templates.

  • Good interpersonal and project management skills.

  • Global, end-to-end attitude is required as we work in global virtual teams.

  • Ability to think transformational (no status quo).

  • Understanding of the GxP, compliancy rules for Pharma and/or Clinical .

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support global implementation efforts

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a global/regional setting, or experience in a large-scale business transformation program.

  • Understanding of Clinical Trial management / Advanced Therapies.

  • Experience with Agile methodology and program deployment methodology including Jira.
