Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for an Information Technology Technician at Fortress Telecom in State College, PA, with flexibility for remote work. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support, delivering customer service, and conducting training sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
- Knowledge of Information Technology
- Strong Customer Service expertise
- Experience in conducting Training sessions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Certifications in relevant IT fields are a plus including: BICSI TECH, Microsoft MS900/MD102, OSHA 40hr (NYC SST)
- Must have experience in Microsoft Entra Admin/Team/Sharepoint/Defender/InTune and Purview
- Must have experience with network troubleshooting including routers, firewalls, switches, VLANs and wireless access points
- Preferred experience with Ubiquiti networking equipment and Yealink phones.
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted and work in confined spaces
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight and weekends, as required.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record, background check and drug test will be required upon employment.
- Conversational/Construction Spanish will be preferred.
