Job Description

A client of ours is looking for an equipment engineer to join thier high performing RAN engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types. They will set and track appropriate dates and facilitate communication/coordination between cross functional teams to ensure successful, on-time completion. They will be responsible for supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics. They will be creating Material Requests and forecasting future needs based on project start dates. They will ensure proper tracking of all components, monitor all equipment expenditures, prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment. The role will include Equipment Procurement & Optimization as well as overseeing equipment receipt and acceptance.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members

-Strong knowledge in job related functional area and of the telecommunications business

-Wireless experience is preferred working with ordering (RAN) equipment such as radios, cabinets, antennas, shrouds from an ordering and moving equipment perspective

• Will be filtering POs and using excel to under project costs

-Will be using a proprietary project management tool called FUZE but can have experience with any PM tool

-Engineering or Tech Degree is preferred Previous Verizon Experience and understanding of the FUZE system null
