This position will report directly to the Senior Director Business Insights & Analytics and will support multiple areas of commercial analytics, with particular emphasis on leveraging modern data science technical capabilities to develop robust analytical models and reports. The role requires strong proficiency with analytical tools, as well as syndicated, secondary, and internal data resources.

Responsibilities

  • Generate insights and develop metrics/KPIs to further commercial performance, including development of analytical models and reporting tools that enable both national and sub-national understanding of elements of performance

  • Lead predictive analytic projects and initiatives for Caplyta and pipeline assets

  • Partner across commercial teams to enable and support key initiatives such as promotional investment assessment, novel commercial engagement

  • Ability to proactively identify analytical needs and solutions, leveraging a deep technical expertise to independently develop the appropriate analytical approach(es)

  • Partner across Commercial in developing and conducting meetings and workshops where analytical insights are required to be shared

  • Apply comprehensive technical skillset to solve range of analytical and reporting tasks and initiatives

  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management

  • Partner with other analytical teams/associates where advanced analytical capabilities are needed

  • Develop, implement, and manage reporting/tracking automation as necessary

  • Proficiently manage stakeholders and vendors, leading analytics to deliver compelling learnings and formulating analytical strategies appropriate to address access issues

  • Work closely with marketing and finance to forecast sales, business planning and long-range planning

  • Leverage metrics to quantify impact of key strategic imperatives used throughout the commercial team and the entire organization

  • Evaluate new & innovative advanced analytical capabilities (e.g., leveraging ML/AI, new statistical approaches, etc.

  • Perform other tasks as requested by ITI senior management, complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant quantitative field, MBA preferred

  • Degree in data science, economics, market research, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, operations research, or another analytical field a plus

  • Documented data science expertise and experience, including SQL, Python, R and at least one highly rated visualization platform

  • 6 + years of commercial analytical experience is required with a minimum of 3 years specifically in or supporting pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience with majority of core pharma commercial data sets (i.e., IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva CRM, HEOR, EHR, 867/852)

  • Experience in vendor selection, contract negotiation, development of vendor strategy to optimize value and spend

  • Resourceful, innovative, and creative with a passion for speed, agility, and simplification

  • Excellent listening, presentation, writing, editing and communication skills with ability to present to senior management when needed

Associate Director, Commercial Analytics: Base Salary Range $130,000 - $165,000
