PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Under the direction of the Manager of RADE or Supervisor of RADE, this position is responsible for reviewing donor records and other blood collection documents to ensure compliance with regulations, accuracy, legibility, and completeness. The employee will work under direct supervision of the Supervisor to ensure that all discrepancies are identified and appropriate actions initiated to ensure proper management of the blood supply. Enters relevant audit data into the computer database and appropriately holds products to prevent labeling or shipment of unsuitable products. Regular full-time attendance is required during office hours, some overtime may be required. Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external customers. Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of Carter BloodCare (CBC). Fosters team spirit and collaborative working relationships to ensure maximum operation efficiency and comfortable work environment.

EDUCATION

• High School Education or GED

EXPERIENCE

• Previous phlebotomy, blood banking experience or background in a highly regulated industry preferred.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Computer skills
• Extremely detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to perform repetitive work accurately and without losing focus
