Local company seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for local company in Solon, OH. All candidates must have Maintenance experience as well as your own tools. Reinbursement and yearly allowance included each year for these items. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift are all available and each position comes with benefits, 401K, medical, dental, vision and more! salary: $66,560 - $68,640 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Steel toe - Uniforms - PPE provided as well as yearly allowance for Tools/PPE etc.

Responsibilites:

• Diagnose and repair machines and equipment

• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions

• Perform general facility preventive and repair maintenance

• Keep the machines, mechanical equipment and the structure of an establishment running during production

• Repair or replace defective machinery or parts

• Melting furnace repair and relining

• Operate forklift

• Hot work and lockout/tagout operation

• Profiency with hand tools a must

• Candidate will have welding and hydraulic experience

• Knowledge of PLC is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 60lbs

• standing for 12 hours at one time

• working weekends
