ABOUT THE ROLE
ICON Studios is looking for a Specialist 1, ICON Merchandise Coordinator. The perfect job for a forward-thinking person looking to join a fast-paced creative photo studio. Pivotal player in understanding merchandise flow and responsible for organization & implementation of processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Learn and absorb all style guides and workflows for both offset and on set styling procedures.
Organize merchandise as it arrives from Pre-Pro and other departments by category, shoot type, and priorities
Work closely with Producer daily to understand upcoming production schedules and deadlines.
Curate and validate daily racks down to the sku level – updating Airtable
Batch key merchandise in prep queue to set daily KPI’s and communicate to teams as necessary.
Scan all products through ICON as they arrive in the studio, checking/updating all job with required views and slate notes for individual creative detail call outs.
Track on reshoot requests, and assist in getting merchandise pulled back to set when needed
Check and relay key information on daily reports with Producer - track and work with any teams to ensure reports are clear and up to date.
Ensure all prepped merchandise ready for set is scanned into photograph, with Airtable updated, by end of day
Fill out and update appropriate EOD documents ensure all merchandise is scanned into the correct location based off corresponding shoot/job type.
Create and send needed supply list to Producer for re-ordering, stock prep desks/closet, and maintain organization.
Use studio tracker to ensure special project merchandise is grouped and prepped prior to shoot date set by Producer.
Act as a support and liaison for other cross functional team leads as it pertains to merchandise flow, location, and process.
Must be able to create, document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1-3 years of relevant professional experience - retail/merchandising/inventory experience preferred.
Ability to Prioritize - consistently, accurately and timely.
Proficiency with Icon, Airtable, MS Office, advanced Excel skills preferred.
Detail-Oriented and Self-Starter
Work closely with and coordinate between Producers, Styling, Merch Ops teams.
Manage ambiguity with projects and processes.
Navigate complexities within a corporate setting.
Continually use great communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and brands.
Consistently reflect a professional demeanor with creative team and production.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment.
