Job Title: PDM Specialist
Job Description
Seeking a highly skilled Product Data Management (PDM) Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing our PDM system, ensuring seamless integration with our existing Solidworks environment. This role involves migrating data, setting up and maintaining vaults, and supporting remote access for engineering suppliers. The PDM Specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure the system meets our long-term needs and supports our mechanical design projects.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage the PDM system, including setting up vaults, data cards, metadata fields, and user access.
Migrate existing data into the PDM system, ensuring data integrity and proper organization.
Support remote access for engineering suppliers and manage workflows related to Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the PDM system supports their needs and integrates seamlessly with ongoing projects.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the PDM system, addressing any issues or bugs that arise.
Develop and implement part numbering schemes and rev control concepts within the PDM system.
Work on long-term projects to enhance the PDM system and support future growth.
Essential Skills
Extensive experience with Solidworks PDM, including implementation, administration, and maintenance.
Proven ability to migrate and manage large datasets within a PDM system, ensuring data integrity and proper organization.
Experience setting up and managing remote access for engineering suppliers and collaborating with external teams.
Solidworks PDM Administration certification preferred.
Experience with Mechanical Design and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with AutoCAD.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
Strong understanding of part numbering schemes and revision control concepts.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid opportunity with the expectation to come to the office a few times a week to collaborate with the team and interact with engineers. The company culture is highly collaborative, promoting the sharing of ideas. The position includes paid time off (PTO) holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00
