In alignment with the Nike brand vision, our North America Integrated Media Team strives to connect & engage athletes* with compelling stories that inspire & enable them to make sport a daily habit.

As part of the North America Brand Marketing organization, our team works cross-functionally to activate marketing programs that help propel the brand and the business into the future. We are responsible for planning and implementing full-funnel paid media campaigns that inspire consumers to love sport and become athletes* - collaborating with major media partners & agencies to develop innovative, industry leading media plans that drive awareness and create interest for Nike’s most important products, services & experiences.

You will report to the Director of Integrated Media - Marketplace Strategy and partnering across our media teams (campaign leads, channel experts, etc), media agencies, media partners, Nike Tech, and global organization to push the boundaries of what is possible in AdTech to keep Nike cutting edge.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a seasoned marketing adtech/martech athlete to join our team in a pivotal, highly cross-functional roll. The ideal candidate is passionate about advertising technology and has considerable experience working across technical teams, product engineers, media experts, and ad partners to improve the technology that enables us to successfully go-to-market in the media space. They thrive working and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously in a matrixed organization while bringing all key stakeholders along for the ride.

Team fit is crucial. We are looking for a curious self-starter and a willing teammate who takes pride in ownership and wants to continuously drive for better. You are the ‘team-sports’ type and thrive maximizing the output of the whole team, not just the individual.

  • Bachelors degree preferably in Marketing, Technology or related field or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training

  • 5-7+ years’ experience in media advertising with a focus on technology

  • Expertise in ad technology – data backbones, clean rooms, measurement, CDP, digital product, etc

  • Big company experience a plus when it comes to navigating and influencing

  • Strong analytical skills & comfort with getting your “hands dirty” diving deep into the projects alongside Digital Product and Data Science professionals

  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including building persuasive presentations to advocate for advancement in the marketing tech space

  • Proven track record of working highly-collaboratively and cross-functionally, including with various marketing subject areas, data and technical teams

  • Great teammate. Positive mentality. Ability to rapidly learn new things.

  • Work location: Portland, OR. Remote is not an option.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will be responsible for working across our Paid Media and adjacent teams to ensure we are maximizing the use of technology and data to steer and optimize our multi-million dollars media programs. You will also partner to drive our tool advancement and tech innovation with our Global Adtech team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Orchestrating the advancement of our MarTech infrastructure, develop plans and build relationships necessary to implement across external agencies, 3rd party partners, media partners, and internal MarTech product teams

  • Actively finding opportunities where Martech can most powerfully impact the effectiveness of our media program and partner to enable smart and timely implementation

  • Project and program management

  • Participating in the creation of robust test & learn agendas to test advancements

  • Working across teams to estimate impact and prioritize tech projects

  • Partnering deeply with our media agencies and Nike Tech to advance proprietary products/applications

  • Staying current with and share industry trends and best practices and continuously refining strategies as tools, methods, privacy evolves

  • Partnering across teams to ensure alignment and proper instrumentation/implementation, looping in experts as needed

  • Cross-sharing across company to ensure successes scale to other relevant areas/Geos

  • Serving as subject matter expert and key point of contact for our team in this space
